What are the applications for Raman?

Raman is utilitize in many different areas and this is increasing rapidly due the versatility of Raman spectroscopy. This is a small summery of some of the industries/applications were Raman is used.

Chemical industry: e.g. Identification, analysis and characterizations of in/organics etc. And polyzation processes (incl. plastics), quantification of mixtures in real time etc.

Pharmaceuticals: e.g. Quality control in/out going products, contaminations etc.

Food productions: e.g. Fatty acids, bacteria, additives etc.

Other areas include forensic applications (ID of drugs and explosives), material ID, semiconductor (QC), geological (ID), biological industries and medical systems and many more.
